The german dark metal band Wintersoul was founded 1999 by Wintersoul himself in Munich/Germany.
Influenced by the pure power & strength of nordish black metal, the beauty & melancholy in folk/gothic music and the animalism of straight, teutonic heavy metal, he created this evil, raging beast by his own hands to combine the essence of everything and become an ultimate and indomitable force in metal.
2001 he released the "Our Dead Gods"-Demo, which was very succesful on mp3.de and got some euphoric reviews in magazines like the german "Metal Hammer".
After the release of just one Demo he deceided to split the project and start something new.
But now - 7 years later - the beast is still alive! The new Demo "A Winters Night" is scheduled for Winter 2008 and will be avalable online as well as (strongly limited) on CD. Stay tuned for further informations! |
