This time chronology, or let·s say the work of the last years, brought the band Killjoy to produce their full-length Frames in 2008 on one hand and on the other one to emphasise the career as a Punkrockband over the last 10 years. If you put together the pictures since the founding in 2000 you will get an expressive and at the same time auspicious storyboard of a moving picture which could be classified as a movie between Action and Comedy.
The band, which took up the cause of fun from the beginning on and has shown over the years to be able to mediate that fun to the audience, can look back on five tours and innumerable concerts. No matter if 100 man shows or on bigger concerts, Killjoy on stage still do what they are known for: play sweat-inducing shows that interact the whole audience. They played from Italy to The Netherlands and from Germany to the Czech Republic with bands like Bloodhound Gang, Goldfinger or Donots.
But not only the stages are home to the four guys. The first full length, released on the label LMC of Berlin is titled Frames and won the price of best album 2008 at the South Tyrolean Music Awards and was followed by a promotion tour across Germany and the Czech Republic. In 2008 they were engaged by the theatre for the writing of the music to the musical The edukators .
The songs of Killjoy convince with powerful guitar riffs, rhythmic drums and three voice singing. The earworm melodies attract the listeners, together with the lyrics that capture daily topics.
The band promises also in the future to be as much as productive as they were until today. In 2010 will be released the second full length better now and the CD will be presented on the promotion tour through Germany and Austria in autumn.
