Gegründet wurden Puppets on Strings im September 2007 von Marc, alias "Fagrata". Sein Projekt "Puppets on Strings" war dabei zum Zeitpunkt der Entstehung zunächst als reines Soloprojekt geplant.
Dieser Plan wurde aber schnell während der Entstehung des Erstlingswerkes "It's your turn" verworfen, als die Sängerin Stef zu Puppets dazustiess und sich auch nach und nach der Gitarrist Sebastian sowie Kossi am Bass und letztendlich auch Micha am Keyboard sowie Jochen an den Drums einfanden und sich für die Musik begeistern konnten.
Erstaunlich, dass sich eine Band mit Musikern unterschiedlichster Musikrichtungen (Jazz, Metal, Gothic, Rock, Blues, Funk) zusammenfand - doch gerade das unvoreingenommene Kombinieren dieser unterschiedlichen Einflüsse schaffte dabei etwas einzigartiges Neues, das nicht nur der Band selbst, sondern auch ersten Zuhörern Lust auf mehr macht!
Im Zeitraum Januar/Februar entstand nun auch schon die erste Studiodemo der Puppets und die Band freut sich nun sehr darauf bald auch live die Bühnen des Landes zu stürmen...
Puppets on Strings were founded by Marc aka “Fagrata†in September 2007. His project “Puppets on Strings†was planned to be a mere solo project at the time of its emergence.
This plan was pretty soon abandoned during the production of his debut song “It’s your turn†when vocalist Stef joined the Puppets. By and by guitarist Sebastian, Kossi at the bass guitar, Micha at the keyboard and finally Jochen at the drums joined, too as all of them have been enthused about the music.
It’s a surprise, that a band with musicians of such different music styles (Jazz, Metal, Gothic, Rock, Blues, Funk) got together – but especially noteworthy is that the open minded combining of these various influences created something uniquely new that does not only make the band wishing for more but also their listeners!
The first demo was produced in January / February 2008. The band is now thrilled to enter the stages of the country live soon! |
