Im April 2006 trafen sich die vier Musiker das erste mal im Studio und nach 5 Monaten intensiver Arbeit war das Demo "create yourself!" fertig.
Ein Jahr später tourte The Sonic Boom Foundation über die großen Festivalbühnen in Deutschland, Schweiz,Österreich, Slowenien und Tschechei..
Die wichtigsten Stationen waren: Gampel, Nature One, SonneMondSterne, Frequency, Highfield, Turntabledays, Springbreak, Rave on Snow, JuicyBeats u.v.m.

Mit "Pie & Mash" erschien im September 2007 das zweite Demo "pie & mash". Das dritte Demo "Crash and Ride" erschien 2008 - Release war am 06.06.2008 im proppevollen Conne Island/Leipzig.
Im Sommer konnte man einen Deal mit VelocitySounds Rec. abschließen und Oktober 2008 erschien "the sonic boom foundation" - das selbstbetitelte Labeldebüt im Vertrieb von ALIVE.
