Ferromanic is a Heavy Metal Band mainly rooted in Heavy Metal-Power Metal-Speed Metal with some slight tunes of progressive influences. The band’s story begins in 2011, shortly after guitarist Oliver May resigned from the German Speed Metal band WARRANT after decades of membership. With lots of ideas floating around in his head he focused on new compositions and recorded an instrumental demo-CD containing the music of the oncoming Precession album.
In October 2011 Oliver contacted singer and longterm friend Achim Hopf. He joined in, immediately convinced by the material’s potential.
During the next two months Oliver and Achim worked out lyrics and vocal arrangements. Between Dec. 2011 and Feb. 2012 the band finished the recordings for FERROMANIC’S debut album, at least handing it over to sound engineer Rudy Kronenberger at Crownhyll-Media for final mixing. Meanwhile the successor CD "Silent Journey" was recorded and produced by May and Hopf. The release will be in autumn 2017.
In 2015 Marcel Ulbricht joined the band as new bass player. Position of drums are not fixed yet. If you feel addressed and skilled, just contact us.
