"Quantec comes from the singular landscape of Windeck, a small municipality near Siegburg/Bonn.
He started experimenting with sounds in 2001, with a Korg Electribe em1, later + E-MX and Microkorg. After some years of learning together with friends how to techno, he got infected with psychedelic music, and later in 2004 he met Yoka on Morgana`s Birthday in the old Pit Stop Bunker in Cologne.
They startet some sessions with hardware/software experiments, to get more knowledge in midisequenzing and arrangementing.
During the following year they created the Synphonetic Live-Act and the Butterfly-Effect CD in 2006. After the studiosessions @ Magnetrixx in Cologne, Quantec got more and more addicted in soundengeneering in Cubase.
He did alot of "learning" sessions with other cubase interested ones, also in some forums like Goabase and Isratrance.
Today he´s working again a lot on the Synphonetic Project,
does a lot of research for growing out an own, unique style, to boldly go where no man has gone before...."
