Leons Massacre is the idea of four musicans who love experimental music. The first concept was punk rythems with breakdowns, so they tried it and the result was amazing!
The project has started in June 2009!
At the beginning Matt has left his old Band "Why Not?" to start something new! A few weeks later Matt got a phonecall from Alex (ex member of "All Frail Rejects") "Let's do something together!" Steve and Clem where two musicans who searched for a band, Alex had a project with Steve a long time ago. He decieded to ask Steve to be LMs Drummer. Steve was very impressed, and so he and Clem joined the band!
They decieded to play under the name LEONS MASSACRE... the name is a deduction from the movie Leon the Professional.
In September 2009 LM released their first song "Leons Massacre". In winter 2009 and spring 2010 Leons Massacre played as much shows as possible and they got popular more and more! In June 2010 they released their new song "Wasted Memories"...
A few weeks later LM released their second song of their 2010 Demo " this is fucking Voodoo"!
In August 2010 they recorded their debut album "World = Exile" that will be released at March 26th 2011!
Since December 2010 you can listen to the first song of the album , "there's no time to write a poem" , on youtube, myspace, facebook, and so on...
In January 2011 Steve switched to our second guitar and MJ joins the band as the new drumer... So LM is ready to kick all your fucking asses out there. |
