The artist behind Plasmasound is Daniel Pratesi.
Right from the beginning music played a major role in his life.
At the age of six he played the drums and aged 13, he learned how to play the guitar. Songs by artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Metalica, REM and Chicago influenced him. Soon he played the drums in a school band.
In the early 1990's he experienced a musical inflection. During that time his major interest layed in electronic music. This kind of music captures him right up to today.
The fact was, "I wanted to produce my own music, realize my own ideas," he says.
However, at that time he didn't have the necessary equipment. So the first synthesizer was bought and the first productions began.
1995: He made his own samples with the help of a computer and produced more than 30 tracks that way. The sound was not very satisfying, so he started to expand his own studio two years later.
At the end of the 1990's, parallel to his music production, he was also DJ on numerous events.
2001 he recorded his first single named "Itopia" in a public recording studio.
He optained knowledge of the latest software and studio equipment.
Today, Daniel produces in his own studio.
The genres include house, trance, chill out, as well as pop and rock.
"I don't commit myself to one style, I like to experiment with different types of music," he says.
After "holiday", "fading lights" and "whiteout" his new project is also now complete. It is called "breathe" and the track is coming out soon.
