It was spring 2007 when the musical paths of the future Dreaded Downfall Members crossed for the first time. Although only aged 16 to 18, the five guys from a rural area near Linz/Austria immediately focused on finding their own perspective on modern Rock, Punk and Metal music. After two years and the release of their debut EP “My illusive Planetâ€, the Band more and more developed a heavier as wel
l as darker style, which integrated metalcore and ambient influences into the already existing musical mixture. Yet one thing didn’t change: The band is still more dedicated to atmosphere and message rather than blending in into certain genres. In 2012 Dreaded Downfall released their second EP “The Rest is Silence†and performed as one of eight finalists at the Austrian Band Contest/International Live Award grand finale at the Prater Open Air Festival in Vienna. Apart from this they already had the chance to share stages throughout Austria with great Bands like We Butter the Bread with Butter or Mandatory.
