Started in 1998 as 3 head music crazy combo called "Invisible Junkies". In the earlier years influenced by the big techno wave and from stuff such as from Mayday aso. Unfortunately parted 2 years later. First time after the breakup Loop Monkey had a break of doing any music. But at the beginning of 2001 he started on his own. At the end of 2003 and after 5 years making electronic music Loop Monkey (Old name: Onjin San) and Bjoernacoustic met each other within a karate training camp and started as Sample Samurais (Old website: www.sample-samurais.de). Almost 3 years both guys made a lot of tracks and live shows together.
In September 2006 Bjoernacoustic unfortunately left the Sample Samurais cause he and his girlfriend moved to Norway. In November 2006 the "Sample Samurais" have been changed into the one man act "Loop Monkey". Since that time Markus/ Loop developed his own style by mixing dance, techno, electro, vocal/progressive house, acid and minimal tunes and a lot of other kind of electronica and music. And now the result is this very typical Loop Monkey sound
you could enjoy.
