POCKET ROCKET - Vier Freunde, die eine Leidenschaft, nämlich die für die Musik teilen, sind seit dem letzten Sommer in dieser Besetzung sehr aktiv. Gegründet wurde die Formation bereits im Jahr 2004 und seit den letzten Jahren festigten sie ihren eigenen Stil immer mehr, den man nun wohl am besten als Pop Punk bezeichnen kann. Nach dem ersten Album "BEHAVE" aus dem Jahr 2005 feuern die Jungs aus St.Pölten dieses Jahr mit der neuen CD "DISASTER SPREADS SO MUCH FASTER" nach. Die beiden Musikvideos "SEE THE ROBLEM" und "BITTERSWEET" waren auf dem österreichischen Musiksender GoTV zu sehen. Das Video zum neuen Album ist bereits gedreht und wird rechtzeitig mit "DISASTER SPREADS SO MUCH FASTER" im Frühling 2008 erscheinen.
Pocket Rocket ist auch auf einigen Samplern vertreten, die man in vielen Ländern kaufen kann. Besonders stolz können die Jungs darauf sein, dass sie auf dem deutschen Dooload Traxx - Sampler zu finden sind, der in Zusammenarbeit mit dem bekannten Skate Shop Titus entwickelt wurde.
Die Musik der Band setzt sich aus druckvollen Schlagzeugrythmen, catchy Gitarrenriffs und einprägsamen Gesangsmelodien mit Texten zu vielseitigen Themen zusammen.
Auf die junge Band wurden auch schon einige Firmen aufmerksam, so werden sie unter nderem von der HURLEY Intl. Clothing Company gesponsert, und die Musiker sind eifrig als "Jägerband" im offiziellen Auftrag von Jägermeister unterwegs.
Bei ihren Auftritten verbreiten sie durch ihr sympathisches und energiegeladenes Auftreten tolle Stimmung. So haben sie bereits mehr als 80 Auftritte in Österreich und dem nahen Ausland absolviert.

Pocket Rocket - Four Austrian boys that share their passion for music. Founded in 2004, they are in their current formation since the summer of 2007. Throughout the years of playing together, they formed their own unique style of music, which could roughly be categorized as Pop Punk.
After releasing their first album "Behave" in 2005, of which both singles "See The Problem" and "Bittersweet" were on heavy rotation on the Austrian music televsion channel "GOTV", they are getting ready to release their sophomore album in late spring of 2008. The video for the first single of the new album is already in the making and will be released a few weeks before the album hits the stores.
Pocket Rocket can also be found on various music samplers which can be bought in mostly all European countries. One, of which they are especially proud of, is the "Dooload Traxx" Sampler, which was created in partnership with the well-known German Online Skate Shop "Titus" and was shipped out with every online order of the store for a few weeks, as well as handed out at all the major German festivals in 2007.
The bands music consists of driving drum beats combined with catchy guitar riffs and hooky vocals that are sure to stick in your head for days once you’re exposed to them, along with very diverse lyrics, which everyone can relate to.
The band did not go unnoticed for long, sponsors such as "Hurley Intl. Clothing Company", "Jägermeister" and "Sektion8 Streetwear" are part of the supporters of the band.
Over the last years the band has earned a reputation of a great live-band, by playing about 80 shows, not only in Austria but also in Italy and The Netherlands. Their great stage presence and the big fun-factor at their shows turn every concert into a big party.
